It was a shock last month when Stephen received the call that his friend of over 45 years had passed. When just the week before they were texting about music.

Chris Hager was not just a life long friend to Stephen, but introduced Stephen & I when I started making stage clothes for Chris.

He had seen some clothing I made and inquired about my creating a new look for him. I worked with him creating new items that he'd wear on stage with Stephen. The clothes caught Stephens eye, and suddenly Chris was bringing Stephen over to have stage clothes made for him....the rest is history.

Chris was a beloved friend, a genuine soul that listened intently when you talked, and always shared hilarious stories. My fondest memories with him are laughing so hard at the stories he'd tell me about life on the road as a touring musician. He will be genuinely missed.

Obviously, his talent was extraordinary, helping Stephen bring RATT music into mainstream from only a mere dream of 2 San Diego guys playing music in Stephens mom's garage.

Chris's contribution to the landscape of music from the 80's Sunset Strip era is as remarkable as it is legendary. Keep in mind, Metallica once opened for Chris's band, 'Sarge', at The Whiskey at a moment in time when all of these bands were all playing up and down the Sunset Strip together, waiting for their big break.

Metallica would also open for Mickey Ratt at Billy Bartys Skating Rink. What a time the 80's were!!

Join us this Tuesday, July 15th 2025 to honor Chris Hager's memory at the place where his dreams began, The Whiskey a Go Go.

A night of music from Mickey Ratt to RATT with Chris's closest friends in music.

Seeing Stephen Pearcy back Live at the Whiskey hits different—there’s something iconic about that room, and the energy in these shows always translates into shareable moments. If I were promoting this date, I’d clip the strongest crowd reactions, pull a few killer quotes for captions, and build a simple content calendar to keep the hype rolling before and after the gig. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been testing AI Marketing Tools for music marketing in 2025—faster content creation, smarter scheduling, and clearer analytics on what actually drives ticket interest. Can’t wait to catch the next update.
