Playing The Whiskey a GoGo is a special treat for Stephen Pearcy since it's his way of paying back a debt of Gratitude to the place that helped launch him & RATT into the 80's Rock Stratosphere! So on Dec 30th 2022, when given the chance to play to his hometown L.A. crowd on the Sunset Strip, he jumped at the chance. With a promise to make it a party to remember.... and according to Gerry Gittleson's MetalSludge write up, Pearcy very much succeeded!!
His Whiskey a Go Go party turned into a reunion of sorts with past RATT/ Mickey RATT members jumping on stage to jam to songs they had played so many years back. Chris Hagar of Rough Cutt and original Mickey RATT guitarist shredded alongside Pearcy to the songs they used to play in the garage they both lived in when having first moved to L.A. in 1980 to chase after and achieve their Rock n Roll dream. Marq Torien of The Bullet Boys and previous (short term) member in RATT's early days also joined in on vocals for a Pearcy/Torien toast to 40 years later. Ira Black and Sean McNabb joined the on stage party with blistering guitars skills bringing The Whiskey crowd to peak excitement!! drums Scot Coogan.
